The prestigious event brought together distinguished alumni, celebrities from the Indian film industry, and leading industry professionals for an evening of celebration, networking, and inspiration.

Noida: A wave of excitement, an extraordinary gathering of filmmakers, film enthusiasts, students, and delegates from across India and the globe marked the grand opening of the 17th Global Film Festival Noida (GFFN) 2024 at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. This landmark event celebrated cinema as a universal language of love, peace, and unity.

Sandeep Marwah, the visionary behind this festival, inaugurated the event with a resounding message:
“We have reached a stage where we no longer need to tell the world how much we love cinema. The 17th edition of GFFN has elevated us to a global platform, recognized for its activities and its purpose of fostering love, peace, and unity through cinema.”

The grand inauguration witnessed the presence of eminent personalities from the world of film and diplomacy. Firdausal Hassan, Producer and President of the Film Federation of India Elect, lauded the scale and grandeur of the festival, remarking, “These festivals infuse immense energy into the nation.” Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, acclaimed director of the film Pink, shared his admiration for the festival’s vibrancy and zest.

The enchanting songs of ‘Rajadhiraaj: Love. Life. Leela.’, which gracefully brought Shri Krishna’s timeless leelas to life in the mega-musical, are now available on all music streaming platforms worldwide. Conceptualised by visionary Dhanraj Nathwani, the soundtracks of the theatrical have been composed by renowned composer duo Sachin-Jigar, and the lyrics have been penned by celebrated lyricist Padma Shri Awardee Prasoon Joshi.

20 original melodic tracks, which illuminated the auditorium with their captivating lyrics and lively scores, are now available for streaming, allowing audiences to immerse themselves in the magic of the grand musical. The songs elegantly capture the unconditional love between a mother and son, the enchanting love story of Radha and Krishna, and the mischievousness of Balgopal, evoking a wide range of emotions.

Sharing his thoughts on the release of the songs, Dhanraj Nathwani said, “Music stirs a rich blend of emotions and leaves a lasting impact on individuals. And Rajadhiraaj’s songs have resonated deeply with the audience across generations, Shri Krishna’s leelas have reached them through music. The composition is a blend of Western symphonic elements from Budapest and Indian classical music, highlighting multiple musical genres such as haveli sangeet, Rajasthani and Gujarati folk, Sapakra, Raas Garba, and Hindustani semi-classical music. To capture the flavours of various regions of India, the musical duo also incorporated local instrumentalists, including tabla, dholak, shehnai, and others. The songs have been sung by renowned singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kailash Kher, Sachin Sanghvi, Parthiv Gohil, Keerthi Sagathia and Jonita Gandhi .

Revealing the idea behind the creation of the lively composition, music composer Sachin-Jigar said, “It was an interesting as well as quite challenging project for us and we thrive on such experiences. We have grown up hearing the songs and stories of Shri Krishna from our grandparents and this musical was an opportunity to bring the Krishna we know to the audience. राजकुमार राव और तृप्ति डिमरी स्टारर फिल्म ‘विक्की विद्या का वो वाला वीडियो’ का विवाद थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। इस फिल्म की कहानी का क्रेडिट अमित गुप्ता को नहीं मिला है। इसलिए इस फिल्म के सभी निर्माताओं के खिलाफ शिकायत पुलिस स्टेशन में हो गई थी। फिल्म के निर्माता भूषण कुमार, कृष्ण कुमार, एकता कपूर, शोभा कपूर, विमल लाहोटी, अश्विन वर्दे, राजेश बहल, राज शांडिल्य और विपुल डी शाह हैं।

पुलिस स्टेशन में शिकायत के बाद अमित गुप्ता को धमकियों के फोन आने लगे, जिसमें अंतरराष्ट्रीय नंबरों से आए कॉल भी शामिल है। अमित गुप्ता का कहना है कि 5 नवंबर को करणी सेना के नेता सुरजीत सिंह राठौड़ ने एक अनजान नंबर से अमित गुप्ता को फोन किया और उनसे फिरौती मांगी और जान से मारने की धमकी दी। जबकी अमित गुप्ता का बार-बार यही कहना था, कि वो कानून के हिसाब से जा रहे हैं। जिस पर सुरजीत सिंह ने कहा कि मैं जिस जगह पर बैठा हूं, मेरा कोई कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता। सुरजीत सिंह ने साफ लफ्जों में कहा कि अमित गुप्ता तुझे अगर अपनी जान बचानी है तो मुझे पैसे दे। वर्ना मैं तुझे जान से मार दूंगा। करणी सेना के नेता की इस तरह से बढ़ती गुंडागर्दी से साफ जाहिर होता है कि वो दशहत फैला रहे हैं। अमित गुप्ता को खुलेआम धमकी देने वाला ये सुरजीत सिंह राठौड़ है कौन और आखिर उसके पीछे है कौन? राजस्थान से आए ये लोग गुंडागर्दी करके बॉलीवुड में क्या यूं ही दशहत फैलाते रहेंगे। सुरजीत सिंह राठौड़ की तरफ से दी गई धमकियां सारी कॉल रिकॉर्डिंग अमित गुप्ता के पास है।

अमित गुप्ता ने जान से मारने की मिल रही धमकियों की शिकायत एक पत्र लिखकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, राष्ट्रपति, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह, महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, उपमुख्मंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, मुंबई पुलिस कमिश्नर, जॉइंट पुलिस कमिश्नर, एडिशनल कमिश्नर ऑफ पुलिस, डीसीपी से की है और एफआईआर दर्ज कराने की मांग कर रहे हैं, उम्मीद है कि जल्दी उनकी एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली जाएगी।

अमित गुप्ता के वकील सुनील शुक्ला (एपेक्स ज्यूरिस एलएलपी के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर) ने बताया कि अमित गुप्ता के विवाद से संबंधित मेरा यह कहना है कि टी सीरीज ने अमित गुप्ता से सेटलमेंट के लेटर पर साइन करवाकर इस बात को माना है कि यह कहानी अमित गुप्ता द्वारा लिखी गई है। उसी कहानी पर फ़िल्म बनाकर उसे रिलीज़ करके अमित गुप्ता के साथ अन्याय किया गया है। न तो उन्हें मेहनताना दिया गया न फ़िल्म में क्रेडिट मिला।

अमित गुप्ता के कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू करते ही उनको धमकियों के फोन आने लगे। हो सकता है ये धमकियां अमित गुप्ता को इसलिए दी जा रही हैं ताकी अमित गुप्ता कोर्ट ना जाए और अपना केस वापस ले लें। या फिर इसके पीछे कोई और मकसद है ये तो पुलिस की जांच के बाद ही पता चलेगा।

New Delhi. Gyanlakshmi Production organized a press conference at the historic Regal Cinema in Delhi to celebrate the overwhelming success of their song “Rab Mera”. Notably, “Rab Mera” has touched the hearts of over 22 lakh people within just one week of its release on 2nd of this month. This emotional song, based on the love between a father and son, features 7-year-old Mohd. Mujtaba as the son and Danish Ali as the father.
Gyanlakshmi Production began its journey with short films like “Desh Badal Raha Hai”, “Vamangi”, and “Ardhangini”. Later, in 2019, they released the series “Secret File” based on Article 370, which achieved unprecedented success. After venturing into short films, Gyanlakshmi Production stepped into the music album industry with songs like “Mohabbat Ke Alfaaz”, “Change Log”, “Gustakhiyan”, “Bhula Sako To Kaho”, and now “Rab Mera”.
Present on the occasion were Vine Arora, Director of Paperstone Music, Vishal Chaudhary, owner of Regal Cinema, Chaitanya Chaudhary, Yogesh Malik, President of Regal Building Welfare Association, Manish Yadav, honorable member of OBC Committee, Delhi Government, and several other dignitaries. Bollywood actress Priya Singh and actor Rahul Bucher, who played the role of Ram in Ramnagari Ayodhya, were also present.
Gurudev K Aneja, Director of the song, said, “We were looking for a child who could do justice to this role, and Mohd. Mujtaba fit perfectly.” Co-producer Mohammad Murtaza expressed, “I thought this song would do moderately well, but it has surpassed my expectations.”

Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with the Hopebelt and WHT Now Foundations, recently conducted a powerful and impactful panel discussion on “Anti-Cyber Bullying and Harassment” at the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) campus. The event aimed to raise awareness and equip students with tools to tackle cyberbullying and online harassment, growing issues that significantly affect the youth.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, initiated the discussion with a thought-provoking statement on the dual nature of technological advances. “Every discovery and invention have two sides of the coin. While these advancements have brought incredible convenience to our lives, they also come with certain side effects. The internet and social media are no exception, creating both opportunities and vulnerabilities,” he said.

The panel featured esteemed speakers from various fields, each contributing a unique perspective to the discussion:Ruhi Rohini Hak, Founder of Hopebelt, highlighted real-life cases of cyber harassment and its grave consequences, including the tragic impact on young lives. She emphasized the importance of being resilient and overcoming such online challenges.

Neeti Goel, Founder of WHT Now Foundation, discussed the foundation’s initiatives to remove harmful elements from society, focusing on spreading awareness and combating harassment in various forms.

Trupti Bhoir, a renowned film actor and director, spoke about the importance of self-esteem and self-confidence. She urged students to remain vigilant and cautious about their own actions online, emphasizing personal responsibility as a key defense.

Dr. Nivedita Shreyas, Co-Founder of WHT Now Foundation, elaborated on the role of the call counseling center run by the foundation. She shared how the center offers youth support in challenging times, reinforcing that help is available for those who need it.

Akshat Khetan, Founder of AU Corporate Legal Advisor Service Limited, provided a legal perspective, explaining the legal recourse available for victims of cyber harassment. His insights bolstered students’ confidence in standing up against online abuse.

Phylicia Singh, a national youth leader associated with the foundation, encouraged students to share their experiences and stand united against harassment, inspiring others to come forward and break the silence.

Following the panel discussion, an interactive Q&A session allowed students to engage directly with the panelists, raising pertinent questions and deepening their understanding of these issues. The event concluded with Dr. Sandeep Marwah presenting each dignitary with lifetime membership in the International Film and Television Club of AAFT, honoring their contributions to this important cause.
