Kolkata, 16 October 2025: Hi-Tech Animation Studios is proud to announce the global premiere of its highly anticipated animated series – Kurukshetra, debuting on Netflix on October 10, 2025.

This milestone marks a major achievement for the Kolkata-based studio, reflecting years of innovation, artistic excellence, and collaborative effort. The upcoming show underscores Hi-Tech Animation’s mission to bring compelling Indian stories to international audiences through world-class animation and storytelling.

Kurukshetra brings one of India’s greatest epics to a global audience on Netflix, reimagined in a fresh, dynamic format for a new generation. On Netflix, the series will stream in 190 countries, dubbed in multiple Indian and key global languages. It will also feature subtitles in 34 languages and include a Hindi Audio Description track for visually impaired viewers.

Hi-Tech Animation also expressed heartfelt thanks to Tipping Point, the digital content arm of Star Studio18 for their unwavering creative support and collaboration.

This show was inaugurated on 14th October 2025 by Ms. Manju Ramesh Chouhan(Staff member of Jehangir Art Gallery) in the presence of Mr. Padmanabh Bendre(Eminent Artist), Pradeep Chandra(Eminent Photographer & Author), Mr. Uttam Jain(Patron Hindustan Chamber of Commerce), Mr. Snehal N. Muzoomdar(President, Indian Musicological Society), Mr. K.K. Tated(Chairman, committee to monitor Animal Welfare) among others.

VISTHAPAN

The dynamics of separation underlined with an inherent trauma informs Vishwa Sahni’s works that are at once dramatic and purposeful. It may be in the separation of families, lovers or the colossal migrations that the world is presently mired in, that all inspire Sahni to find rendition on canvas. On cursory viewing he appears to bring out only the pain and unhappiness that reflects these separations. However, there is a hopefulness when this artist assures us that deep in the heart and soul there is a binding that even in what seems an adverse situation. The growing fondness in the heart bearing the weight of the separation, stays faithful to the memory. The oils are very expressive as those who inhabit his canvas make their presence felt despite the haze they reside in. The haze they reside in screens them offering a sense of community binding as they huddle together in a shared condition, their existence never diminished.

For more than a decade now artists all over the world have expressed angst and anguish over the growing migration situation. The politics of migration has incessantly inspired all art practioners especially artists and poets. It all began in 2011 when more than 14 million Syrians were forced to flee their homes in search of safety from a violent government that had cracked down on the citizens following public demonstrations in support of teenagers who had been arrested for anti-government graffiti. The intense response to dissent and the heightened tensions surrounding freedom of expression resulted in forced migration, often leading to complex challenges such as mental health issues and the need for new protection frameworks. Historically artists are known to respond naturally to such intense situations using their art to illustrate the degenerating power dynamics of politics, human vulnerability, and border issues.

There is an undeniable arresting power in Sahni’s work. Matured over time Sahni has been exploring themes of exodus, displacement, and separation in his work, using an overriding haze obliterating identity to depict and focus on the hardships and experiences of refugee communities. They seem at times to exist within a discreet existence. Their shared journeys become an intimate binding. Family separations are a significant social feature he delves on. However the decision to re-partner after separation makes his work highlight the complex interplay between displacement and the experience of being separated from one’s homeland and living in a no man’s land situation.

Sixty one year old Sahni moved to Mumbai and has a studio in the northern suburbs. Coming from the bucolic hinterland away from open pastures in the midst of nature to a concrete maze his own migration speaks volumes of adjusting while attempting to establish roots. The route is always lined with the painful paves of yearning and longing. However since 2018 he has to his credit several solo exhibitions across the city, participations in group shows and artists’ camps. Migration toughens the body and soul while burying beneath all the anguish of separation and shielding deep within a warmth of the beginnings.

UJJAL” — A Radiant Confluence of Painting & Sculpture
14 – 20 October 2025 | Jehangir Art Gallery (Auditorium Hall), Mumbai

The group show “UJJAL” displays paintings and sculptures by six contemporary Indian artists: Bappa Maji, Pravat Manna, Subrata Paul, Sudeshna Sil, Sudip Biswas, and Tanmoy Hazra.

“UJJAL” (meaning bright, luminous) draws viewers into a deep conversation with form, colour, memory, myth, and nature. These six artists, regardless of their fields, combine tradition and novelty, the physical and the lyrical, the individual and the general.

This show was inaugurated on 14th October 2025 by Mr. Brahmanand S. Singh(National Award Winning Filmmaker, Author & Mentor)

Bappa Maji of Kolkata sculpts sacred and animal forms using the Bengal Dokra tradition. He reinterprets mythological Vahanas in new materials. His art considers humans, animals, myth, and daily life, prompting viewers to feel respect and think.

Pravat Manna uses paint to change the canvas into a landscape of feelings, using oil, acrylic, and mixed media. Through layered compositions, he explores memory, identity, and humanity, using technical skill and personal symbolism.

Active since the late 1990s, Subrata Paul sculpts, often with bronze and wood, moving beyond mere replication to reveal the hidden energies of form. His sculptures communicate human feelings and interactions, using both old and new artistic methods.

Sudeshna Sil’s work reflects her sensitivity, influenced by Bengal’s nature and art training. Through watercolour, mixed media, and fabric, she portrays nature’s depth, offering escape from city life.

Sudip Biswas, a notable modern Indian painter, creates stories of quiet feelings, cultural remembrance, and tradition. Benaras and the Ganga influence his paintings, which combine abstraction and figuration. His recent awards highlight the impact of his work.

The exhibition also includes Tanmoy Hazra’s work, which is characterised by its expressive and innovative qualities and engagement with diverse materials, form, context, and meaning.

The six artists engage in a complex dialogue, rich with layers of myth and matter.

“UJJAL” presents a unique mix of artists, allowing art lovers to dive into modern Indian visuals that are both classic and forward-looking. We welcome everyone to experience these artworks at Jehangir Art Gallery.

मुंबई, 13 सितम्बर 2025 मुंबई की सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक पहचान से जुड़े नाम, प्रसिद्ध बिल्डर और समाजसेवी असलम लश्करिया को इस वर्ष के प्रतिष्ठित “करेक्टर ट्री अवार्ड 2025” से सम्मानित किया गया।

यह सम्मान उन्हें समाज सेवा, रियल एस्टेट क्षेत्र में योगदान और उनकी ईमानदार एवं संघर्षपूर्ण यात्रा के लिए प्रदान किया गया।

भव्य समारोह में सितारों की मौजूदगी

मुंबई में आयोजित इस अवार्ड समारोह में बॉलीवुड और राजनीति जगत की कई नामचीन हस्तियाँ मौजूद रहीं।

मंच पर वरिष्ठ अभिनेता व नेता राज बब्बर और बॉलीवुड अभिनेता पंकज त्रिपाठी ने अस्लम लश्करिया को सम्मानित किया। इस दौरान सभागार तालियों की गड़गड़ाहट से गूंज उठा और उपस्थित लोगों ने उनके सफर की सराहना की।

संघर्ष से सफलता तक का सफर

* अस्लम लश्करिया की कहानी मेहनत, संघर्ष और विश्वास की कहानी है।

* वर्ष 1984 में उन्होंने अपनी माँ से मात्र ₹10,000 रुपये लेकर शुरुआत की थी।

* आज वे लश्करिया ग्रुप के माध्यम से मुंबई के प्रतिष्ठित बिल्डरों में गिने जाते हैं।

* उनके नाम पर विश्वास और ईमानदारी की पहचान जुड़ी हुई है।

समाज सेवा में अग्रणी

अस्लम लश्करिया सिर्फ रियल एस्टेट तक सीमित नहीं हैं, बल्कि वे लगातार समाज सेवा में भी सक्रिय रहते हैं।

* शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में सहयोग,

“यह अवार्ड सिर्फ मेरा नहीं, बल्कि उन सभी लोगों का है जिन्होंने मेरी यात्रा में मुझ पर भरोसा किया। मेरी माँ का आशीर्वाद और जनता का विश्वास ही मेरी असली पूँजी है। मैं वादा करता हूँ कि आगे भी समाज और देश की सेवा करता रहूँगा।”

कार्यक्रम में कई जानी-मानी हस्तियाँ मौजूद रहीं। सितारों और राजनीतिक हस्तियों ने उनके काम की खुलकर तारीफ की। कार्यक्रम के बाद असलम लश्करिया को बधाई देने वालों का तांता लग गया

 

करेक्टर ट्री अवार्ड 2025 में असलम लश्करिया को मिला सम्मान

राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह ने 150 सदस्यीय टीम के साथ संभाला मोर्चा

मुंबई। पंजाब में आई भीषण बाढ़ ने हजारों परिवारों का जीवन तहस-नहस कर दिया है। इस आपदा के बीच देश की जानी-मानी समाजसेविका और मेघाश्रेय संस्था की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह राहत कार्यों में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रही हैं। उनकी संस्था ने पंजाब के अलग-अलग बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में समर्पित भावना के साथ मदद का अभियान छेड़ दिया है।

राहत सामग्री घर-घर पहुँचाई जा रही

संस्था की टीम अब तक हजारों परिवारों तक खाने-पीने की सामग्री, दूध, चाय, नाश्ता, दवाइयाँ, कंबल, चादर और ज़रूरी घरेलू सामान पहुँचा चुकी है। संस्था के स्वयंसेवक घर-घर जाकर बाढ़ पीड़ितों की हर ज़रूरत का ध्यान रख रहे हैं।

150 कार्यकर्ता जुटे सेवा में

पंजाब के अलग-अलग जिलों में संस्था की 150 सदस्यीय टीम तैनात है। यह टीमें लगातार राहत सामग्री पहुँचाने और लोगों की मदद करने का काम कर रही हैं।

सीमा सिंह : नारी शक्ति और सेवा की मिसाल

सीमा सिंह का नाम देशभर में समाजसेवा और मानवता की सेवा के लिए जाना जाता है। वे मेघाश्रेय संस्था की संस्थापिका और राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष हैं। उन्होंने कई वर्षों से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, महिला सशक्तिकरण, अनाथ बच्चों की देखभाल और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं में राहत कार्य जैसे अनेक क्षेत्रों में सक्रिय योगदान दिया है।

सीमा सिंह ने हमेशा समाज के वंचित वर्ग और जरूरतमंदों के उत्थान के लिए काम किया है।

उनकी संस्था ने समय-समय पर अनाथालय, वृद्धाश्रम, महिलाओं और बच्चों की सुरक्षा तथा शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय पहल की है।

सीमा सिंह का मानना है कि “सच्ची सेवा वही है, जिसमें न कोई स्वार्थ हो और न कोई दिखावा, केवल मानवता का भाव हो।”

संस्था की संस्थापिका और राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह ने कहा कि “मेघाश्रेय का उद्देश्य केवल मदद करना ही नहीं बल्कि इस कठिन समय में मानवता और भाईचारे की मिसाल पेश करना है। जब तक हालात सामान्य नहीं हो जाते, हमारी संस्था पंजाब के लोगों की सेवा में समर्पित रहेगी।”

बाढ़ पीड़ितों के लिए उम्मीद की किरण

स्थानीय लोगों ने मेघाश्रेय संस्था की निस्वार्थ सेवा की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इस आपदा की घड़ी में संस्था का सहयोग उनके लिए बहुत बड़ी राहत है। पंजाब में जगह-जगह पानी भरा हुआ है और लोग बेघर हो चुके हैं, लेकिन संस्था की पहल से पीड़ित परिवारों को नई उम्मीद मिली है।
